{"id":3107,"date":"2022-08-05T10:11:07","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T10:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/acudc.com\/?p=3107"},"modified":"2022-08-05T10:11:07","modified_gmt":"2022-08-05T10:11:07","slug":"mitsubishi-launches-blockchain-platform-for-metal-trading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/acudc.com\/zh_tw\/mitsubishi-launches-blockchain-platform-for-metal-trading\/","title":{"rendered":"Mitsubishi Launches Blockchain Platform for Metal Trading"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The metals and minerals resource trading subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation RtM Japan Ltd, has launched a blockchain platform named ECO for precious metals trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/acudc.com\/Uploads\/2020-08-12\/5f339d8a627f9.jpg\" alt=\"61d3f87f1678ee9411f3df2608d4d5d1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed by Mitsubishi in partnership with the American blockchain company Skuchain, the platform is built on top of Skuchain\u2019s EC3 platform for blockchain-based supply chain management and finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the official&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/mitsubishi-corporation-rtm-japan-goes-live-with-eco-powered-by-skuchains-blockchain-based-ec3-platform-301107956.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announcement<\/a>, ECO will ease metal trades between counterparties by generating, managing and executing invoices and trade confirmations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the start, Mitsubishi will only bring its \u201cmost valued customers\u201d on the platform but it plans to soon expand and implement ECO to cover a wider portion of its supply chain system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the ECO platform, trading parties will be able to sign trade documents and upload them on the blockchain. They can then share the signed documents with others in real-time and hide any commercially sensitive information that they do not want to reveal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company said it will be adding more features to ECO in the future to solve other crucial supply chain challenges in the metal trading industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitsubishi Group has been proactive in the blockchain space.&nbsp; Cointelegraph recently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/blockchain-development-firm-raises-nearly-28m-in-funding\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;that Mitsubishi\u2019s financial subsidiary Mitsubishi UFJ Group, or MUFG, was collaborating with LayerX to promote digitization for companies and government agencies.
