They claimed that the Supreme Court of India&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/india-supreme-court-lifts-rbi-ban-on-banks-servicing-crypto-firms\">announcement<\/a>&nbsp;&#8220;has led to renewed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/indian-p2p-bitcoin-trading-flourishes-amid-regulatory-warming\">interest<\/a>&nbsp;in digital asset investing and a spike in exchange trading volumes&#8221; in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking with Cointelegraph, Nitin Agarwal, founder and director of B21, commented on the technology\u2019s market potential in India, following the Supreme Court&#8217;s decision:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The decision in India has helped us focus on partnerships and marketing in India, as we see a large population which are smartphone savvy and also a large emerging class of investors looking for investment opportunities which previously were not available to them.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Will crypto remain legal in India?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>B21&#8217;s founder stated that India has &#8220;a lot&#8221; to contribute to the development of crypto-assets and the emerging blockchain ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Supreme Court&#8217;s decision on cryptos in India could still face future challenges, however.
