The initiative also involves an experimental wholesale CBDC (wCBDC) to enable interbank settlement between the tokenized deposits of banks.<\/p>\n<p>Four banks are providing the tokenized deposits: HSBC, Standard Chartered (Hong Kong), Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Hang Seng Bank.
