This could help solve complicated real-world problems on a large scale.<\/p>\n<p>An OpenAI spokesperson explained, \u201cWe want our AI models to see and understand the world more like we do. Continuous research into new AI capabilities is a common practice in the industry, with a shared belief that these systems will improve in reasoning over time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Strawberry project involves extensive \u201cpost-training\u201d analysis of OpenAI\u2019s existing AI models to generate more human-like responses. This aligns with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman\u2019s January 2024 statement that \u201cThe most important areas of progress will be around reasoning ability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While still in development, the timeline for Strawberry\u2019s public availability remains unclear. Reuters reports that the model\u2019s operational details are closely guarded, even within OpenAI.<\/p>\n<p>Strawberry builds upon OpenAI\u2019s Q* project announced in November 2023, which was described by industry experts as a technical breakthrough enabling the development of more powerful AI models.<\/p>\n<p>This news comes amid changes at OpenAI, such as reports of Microsoft and Apple leaving the company\u2019s board.
